Editorial Comment

Dear authors, reviewers, and readers,

It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of the PNG Journal of Education (PNGJE) Volume 44, 2024. I feel honoured and fortunate to be part of this peer-reviewed online journal. We, the sub-editorial committee of the PNGJE, are working as a highly effective team to ensure that the journal continues to be a trusted source in the relevant fields of education.

The PNGJE is a fully peer-reviewed open access journal which publishes papers on all spheres of education, innovation and communication. It focuses on providing a free and open platform to academics, researchers, professionals, and postgraduate students to communicate and share knowledge in the form of high quality empirical and theoretical research that is of interest not only to academic readers but also to practitioners and professionals.

This volume of the PNGJE includes five articles. Four of these discuss the effects of digitization on education generally and technology-enabled learning (TEL) in national universities, while one focuses on critical literacy policies in PNG preservice teacher education.

We thank all authors who chose PNGJE to publish their research, all peer-reviewers and the editorial board for making this publication a success. We look forward to your continued support and goodwill.

Best regards for the year ahead.

Dr. Kilala Devette-Chee

Editor PNG Journal of Education
